How to find our studio
The Rook Botanics studio is based in the heart of Shawlands in Glasgow Southside. It’s slightly off the beaten track, here’s some pointers on how to find us.
We’re just off Waverley Street
Our address:
Unit 3A, 10 Waverley Street, Shawlands, Glasgow, G41 2EA
We’re based in a yard with several other local businesses. To access the yard you need to head to Waverley Street and then walk up the sloped road. There’s sign for the other businesses, so it’s easy to spot.
Once you’re in the yard keep an out for the white net curtains blowing around. That’s where the Rook Botanics is based!
Local transport
Train: It's a 6 minute walk from Crossmyloof station and a 15 minute walk from Queens Park train station.
Bus: There’s lots of bus routes along the main road on Pollokshaws Road. The 3, 4, 29, 38, 57, 103 stop here.
Car: It’s easy to access from the M74 and M77. The parking in Shawlands is free, but you may need to factor in five minutes or so to find a space on the surrounding streets. The other business owners in the yard have priority access to the parking space within the yard. There may be spots available for you to park, but there’s a chance you will need to move your car during the workshop.
By appointment only
The studio is by appointment only and not open to the general public. It’s the base for my workshops, where tickets are prebooked. But we don’t have a shop for people to swing by and pick up bunches.
