    Leftover Flower Club

What is the LFC?

We hate waste. But Sarah can’t be trusted when buying flowers and often overbuys. Instead of letting the flowers wilt in the studio we’ve launched the Leftover Flower Club.

It’s a laid back hour of flower play using leftover blooms from recent weddings and events. You won’t know what flowers or colours you’re getting until you arrive. Sarah will give you a fifteen minute demo with the leftover flowers, then you’re free to play around for the next 45 minutes. You’ll be provided with brown kraft paper and ribbons so you can wrap your beautiful blooms to take home.

No experience is needed, it’s just a bit of fun. You’re also welcome to bring snacks. And maybe an extra layer or two, it can get chilly in the studio!

How do you join?

Sign up for the LFC email list. It’s free to join!

Each time a new session is launched you’ll receive an email. It’s first come, first serve. Limited to six people. They’ll be ad hoc and spontaneous, but usually on a Sunday afternoon.

“I’ve attended two workshops ran by Sarah, both have been fantastic! She has a wealth of knowledge and provides clear instruction for all levels. I’ve left both workshops feeling proud of what I’ve made!”

Location:

The Leftover Flower Club is held at our studio, nicknamed The Rookery.

You can find The Rookery at Unit 3A, 10 Waverley Street, Shawlands, Glasgow, G41 2EA.

On Waverley Street you’ll see a sign for Rook Botanics, head up the sloped path and you’ll spot our A-board.

Meet Sarah…

I’m Sarah, the face behind Rook Botanics. I fell head over heels for flowers when I was fourteen, and that love has continued to grow.

I love to demystify floristry for beginners, and help people learn new skills and techniques that they can use at home.
