Erica and Calum’s springtime wedding.
In May 2025 I worked on a dreamy wedding. It was relaxed, joyous and easy going. Absolutely my vibe. It was the kind of day where you just know the couple and the guests had fun. Which might seem like a weird thing to say, but I’ve seen plenty of weddings where everything is so regimented and stressful that is ripples throughout the whole day and people forget to enjoy themselves.
Not Erica and Calum.
Both arrived with little fanfare, both grinning ear to ear. It was held at a local community centre in Edinburgh. The staff were laidback and I was able to unload and set up in peace - a rarity!
Everyone was joking and enjoying themselves as I pinned buttonholes to the groom and his groomsmen. When the bride arrived I had time to hand over the bouquet and have a quick chat. I just knew that when they sent over the wedding gallery from their photographer it would be full of laughter and smiles.
Their relaxed and joyful wedding took place at Greyfriars Charteris Centre. It’s a beautiful, airy, light-filled community centre that is the perfect blank canvas for creating a bespoke wedding.
