Immersion Day T&Cs

1. Booking and payment

We use bank transfer for payment. Payment for your immersion day is deemed as acceptance of these terms and conditions.

No immersion day is booked until the money has been paid.

2. Refunds and rescheduling

Refunds are allowed up to seven days before the day. Rescheduling of the date is allowed up to seven days before the day. Should you be unable to attend the workshop within seven days of the date, no refund or transfer of your booking shall be offered.

3. Postponement and cancellation

We reserve the right to amend or cancel any of our immersion days.

Should we be unable to deliver a session on the date specified, we shall endeavour to give you at least one week’s notice. You’ll have the option of transferring to another date or having a full refund. Refunds will be processed within 7 working days.

Rook Botanics is not liable for any losses (including, but not limited to, travel and accommodation costs) arising as a consequence of any modification or cancellation of session or timetabling constraints as set out above, beyond the cost of the session fee.

4. Minimum age requirement

You must be at least sixteen years old to attend a Rook Botanics’ immersion day.

5. Availability of flowers and materials

All products / flowers are subject to availability. In the event of supply difficulties, we reserve the right to substitute a similar product / flower to what has been discussed. The customer will not always be informed. Please note that flowers and foliages may have some markings or imperfections. 

6. Health and safety

Attendees are expected to follow health and safety guidelines that are given at the start of each immersion day. Please note we use sharp secateurs during the sessions.  Attendees are asked to wear appropriate clothing and footwear. An apron will be provided, but if you wish to wear gloves you will need to provide your own. Please note the studio is cold and we often work with the shutter open, please bring extra layers.

7. Allergies

We cannot be held responsible for any medical issues arising from, but not limited to proximity contact, scent, physical contact or any other form of contact to any component, fresh, preserved or otherwise.

We do provide refreshments and lunch at our immersion days. Please make us aware of any food intolerance upon booking.

8. Photography and filming

Rook Botanics reserves the rights to take photographs/videos during the immersion days. These may be used for promotional purposes on social media, the Rook Botanics website and other marketing materials. If you do not wish to appear in these, then please make Sarah aware of this at the start of the session.

9. Complaints

Any complaints must be made within 24 hours along with photographic evidence, where appropriate.

10. Disclaimer

We will endeavour to ensure that the Rook Botanics service is fully operational and error-free. However, we cannot guarantee this. Acts of God, sudden ill health and adverse weather conditions may affect our ability to deliver the product or service. Ultimately, we can accept no responsibility for Acts of God, sudden ill health or adverse weather conditions and if we are prevented from providing the service or product as agreed.
